You've done your Spring Cleaning and de-cluttering and now you don't know what to do with the pile of stuff that you cleared out. Donate it? What organization? Will they pick up? What to do with the old electronics, cell phones, eyeglasses? It is all good stuff - can't just throw it away. We all feel a need to send our stuff to good homes.
I have a list of my most used resources for donations, selling, consignment, recycling, shredding, and even large item pick-up services. This list is continually updated as I learn of new options and sources. I imagine that there are many resources that I have not even thought about yet, so if any readers of this blog have any ideas that they would like to add, I welcome them all. Obviously, most of these resources are local to my community, which is the Coachella Valley, in Southern California, but many of them are websites for national organizations, so I hope this information will be of some use to all readers.
